The event was held to coincide with the third edition of National Space Day, an anniversary established to commemorate the launch of San Marco 1, Italy's first satellite, on 16 December 1964, and celebrated on 15 December 2023.
In addition to helping us discover a fascinating destination, rich in history and tradition, the mission represented an important opportunity for our company to establish relations with major players in the aerospace sector and get closer to the Japanese market. In this context, contact with the Prefecture of Ibaraki and Space Project Coordinator Kuroda Shinsuke proved particularly significant.
A highlight was a visit to the facilities of the renowned JAXA, the Japanese Space Agency. Equally remarkable was the enthusiastic reaction of Chaiki Mukai, Japan's first female astronaut, at the sight of our picosatellite pilot, testifying to the impact and value of our participation.
