CSHARK is a member of the European Space Agency

We are thrilled to announce that CSHARK is now an integral part of the ESA!

The European Space Agency is an intergovernmental organization dedicated to space exploration, headquartered in Paris, France. Founded on May 30, 1975, ESA comprises 23 member states and collaborates with other nations through cooperation agreements.

ESA was formed by the merger of two European organizations: the European Launcher Development Organisation (ELDO) and the European Space Research Organisation (ESRO). These organizations, founded in the 1960s, aimed to develop independent European space capabilities. In 1975, with the signing of the ESA Convention, a single European space agency was created to coordinate and promote space research and exploration in Europe.

ESA focuses on a wide range of space activities, including:

  • Human and Robotic Exploration: Participation in the International Space Station (ISS) program and robotic missions to Mars and the Moon.

  • Earth Observation: Using satellites to monitor climate, natural resources, and natural disasters.

  • Science and Technology: Developing advanced technologies and participating in scientific missions to better understand the universe.

  • Launch and Operations: Designing and managing launch vehicles, including the well-known Ariane 6.

  • International Cooperation: Collaborating with other space agencies, such as NASA, for joint missions and shared technology development.

We are proud to be part of this historic organization whose collaboration will allow us to directly contribute to the goals and missions of the agency, bringing innovation and cutting-edge technological expertise to the space sector!
